The music was over the top and unnecessarily dramatic. Many scenes could have had a better impact had they had depended more on the portrayal of the main character's doubts and fears as they get the better of him. Instead, the loud and heavily composed music during such scenes was distracting and ruined what could have been very powerful moments.
